In 2006 Sony came out with a new W series camera, the W100. The W100 has 8 mega pixels. It has a LCD screen that is 2.5 inches wide. The camera comes in silver and black. The camera has the new feature that explains each icon on the screen.

The battery of the W100 is long lasting. It will allow you take up to 360 shots. It also has a port for a USB cable to allow you to place your pictures on the computer. It is the sister camera of the W70 camera. The main difference is that it is a 8 mega pixel camera.
