   The first difference one will notice when looking at the F505 is that it has a separate zoom lens. The separate lens can swivel up to a 90 degree angle. The screen is two inches long and in LCD color. Like the F55 it is resistant to the glare of direct sunlight.

The body of the camera is alloy so it will resist most everyday damage. The images are saved as JPEG. It can also allow you to make short movies. For the real professionals it also has a tripod socket. The flash will work at a distance of 8 feet from the object you are shooting. It comes with a battery and a charger.
